Anita Ma is fourteen year old who was born in the busy streets of Toronto, Canada. As a child, she has always been fascinated with science. She has drowned a goldfish in orange juice. Not because she was overly curious three year old, but for science. She has even held a small hand held fan close to her hair just to see what would happen—which resulted in having seven inches of hair chopped off. But in all seriousness, Anita has been extremely passionate for robotics. Having two years of robotics under her belt, both times making it to worlds in Toss Up and Skyrise (winning the amaze award), she is proud to join WASABI 1492Y this year. Other than robotics, she has a lovely voice in singing; dances in lyrical, jazz and ballet; and is talented in math. Anita is also a huge book fanatic. Reading books in a matter of days, she loves the Mortal Instruments, The Selection, Red Queen, The Young Elites, Hush, Hush, and The Fifth Wave series. She listens to Christmas music 24/7 and is proud of it. She is in grade nine goes to Interlake High School.
