W.A.S.A.B.I
WASABI was created in a small garage in 2009 and has grown to be one of the most successful VEX teams in the nation. We have attended Worlds for 5 years and have provided many of our alumni and current members with an inspiration for competition, engineering, design, programming, and construction.
Our Process
Fail, Forward, Fast
Our favorite strategy is to make smaller tests for our robot to pass (and likely fail) so that we can diagnose and foresee problems much quicker in advance. Here at W.A.S.A.B.I., we like to break our challenges into much smaller, more manageable challenges for a maximum reward.

One team; Many ‘bots!
We practice as a team, rather than a collection of sub-teams. We do divide into multiple sub-groups but those groups are fluid, sometimes based around robots and sometimes around sub-assemblies. Strategy meetings are held as complete team meetings to maximize our thinking and cross-pollination.
